I am going to apply citizenship soon, however i ordered my cbsa report and found out that one entry is missing in that report.

I landed in Canada in Oct 2012,

1) I then went to india in Jan 2014 and came back to Canada in Feb 2014 (This entry is missing )

2) I then went to india in dec 2015 and came back to Canada in feb 2016. Since then I am in Canada.

Can any one comment if this is going to affect my citizenship application and is there any way i can correct this. Surprisingly on both above occasions my passport is not stamped in Canada , no canadian entry / exit stamps and only indian entry/exit stamps

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I don't think it will be an issue. Make sure you report all the trips you mentioned in your application. Assumed your trips back to India was by air, you should have the stamps on your passport pages which is your proof. Don't worry.

There is a procedure to attempt to get CBSA to amend their records and the instructions for that should have been included with your report. Absent that, you could send a note with your application explaining the situation and some sort of proof of when you came back to Canada: Airline ticket, boarding pass, bank statement showing a transaction in Canada, etc.

I had one entry missing as well. CBSA does not add missing entries. They just correct incorrect entries. So, looking at the circumstances, try to apply for citizenship by giving extra buffer. Do your own calculations and apply with extra buffer of days.

Even though the entry is missing, still declare the correct dates of entries and exits in the residence calculator sheet truthfully.

I am not sure what it is, but there should have been instructions included with the report. But like others have said, they probably aren't going to add an entry, just correct one that is wrong.

No need to be scared if you were working and you can prove you were.
