Urgent!!! Birth Certificate for Proof of Funds? HELP!

Hello Seniors,

I got a gift deed from my maternal uncle as my proof of funds. Do i need to show that he shares my mother's maiden name by submitting her birth certificate since her international passport carries my father's name? Please reply, it's urgent. Thanks in advance.
