It appears that we have sent the wrong amount of money for the RPRF (760 instead of 780 Euros). Do you think we should make another direct deposit of 20 Euros and send them an email with a reciept or should we wait until they contact us. We don't want to lose time.

It is a direct deposit and not a draft. The thing is that we were hoping for the visas in 3-4 weeks (1 week passed) and now i worry it will be delayed

You should wait for a response from VO

you need to send a letter to them at VO.please don"t wait as not to delay your visa.you can send the remaining #20 and inform them at visa office as delay may be dangerous.

I don't think you should wait. Rather, consider making another direct deposit of 20 Euros and inform the visa office immediately. Scan and email the receipt as well.

You would lose nothing if you sent the 20 Euro now to your VO. And since the payment is a direct deposit, it will safely be registered for your file.

Vangelis.....you certainly have initiated some discussion with your query. Please do keep us posted.

There is another problem with that. I have read cases that the banks charge some fees when you pay them. So although we paid 760, maybe they got 755 or something, so we are not sure that only 20 euros are missing!

There's nothing to be confused about - go to the bank and get information on exactly how much was deposited to the beneficiary. From this, find out how much you need to add to make up the difference including bank charges.

The final decision is yours to make. But consider this:
1. waiting - visa officer goes to collect money and it's not enough, has to ask for correct amount resulting in delays.
2. paying the extra amount to make up 780 Euros - possibility of getting the correct amount there before visa officer goes to collect the money, thereby avoiding delays.

Based on the above, I'd say #2 seems more reasonable.
