Hi Tinam,
Please advice the below
Yes, Had declared the household items on my first landing i.e. March 2010. Will this cause problems if I cargo all my stuff.

Draft Cheque will be my savings approx 200K and on Gold approx 2 kilos - these are occasional use where we received as gifts or bought some.

One point I did not understand i.e. "Remember the embassy issues visas where entry is not guaranteed! Entry depends on how satisfied the border agent is" -----Are you referring to that the border agent will cause problems to enter even if I have a PRTD? Please confirm as I do not want to risk this.

Also need to know that once I migrate to Canada - Can we apply the PR immediately or do we need to wait given that the PRTD has been issued under HC

Please advice....
I don't think you have anything to worry about when you have a PR TD that is still valid. They will let you enter.

You should apply for PR cards for all of you right away based on the TD's. Send the TD's or copies along with your application. Explain the situation again in a cover letter what caused you to be outside Canada so long.

Thank you Leon.
Please advice the below
I had declared the household items on my first landing i.e. March 2010. Will this cause problems if I cargo all my stuff now. Do I need to provide the goods to follow when we migrate in March 2017.

Will also be carrying a Draft Cheque with savings of approx 200K and Gold approx 2 kilos - these are occasional use where we received as gifts or bought some. Will declare this at the customs. Will this cause me any issue.
