DEAR FRIENDS,

We had completed our interview during 2007 Sep, and was given and assurance that everything is okWe had a consultant based in Canada who was doing the work for us. After taking all the money he has left our case and not responding. Last week I had received this reply. Please advice how to go about.

Message.

You were requested to provide evidence that both your and your spouse's post-secondary institutions of study are accredited from the authorities responsible for the regulation and accreditation of educational institutions in India, not from the institution itself. No such information was received, therefore you were not awarded points for post-secondary education.

Regards/Dyan

you can report about this consultant using http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/representative/complaints.asp

and mention that no information was passed by the consultant ever since he took his entire fee. request CIC to re-consider your file.

if they do not consider, then try applying under new Fast Track system in which the PR arrives within 6-12 months..

In my opinion also this would be the right thing to do.

Contact CIC & log your complaint....these sort of consultants needs not to be spare. There are strong chances that CIC will re-open your file and give you a chance.

If they don't then apply under fast-track.

Good luck.

Your case is closed very sad to say ,you can write to cic with in 30 days of date on this letter.99.99 percent they will say that your case is closed .CIC is not bothered about consultants ill doing. It is the responsibility of an individual to choose a consultant.

iateapple is absolutely right, if your consultant is registered with CIC then you have a slight chance to put him in trouble otherwise no way.

Even if it you complain nothing will come out , you wont be compensated or refunded.Maximum, he will be penalised by delisting from CSIC membership but for that also you will have to fight and require assisrance of another to make a fool prrof case.

The original posted can be compensated if it is proved it was professional mistake made by Consultant and because of that case was refused.
