Hi there,

Which institute sent you admission in? As per my experience, the following steps are followed:

1) First you have to apply for admission based on your transcripts and IELTS requirements. Everything is sent online.
2) You will get an admission offer which has to be accepted within a time frame - also has to be done online.
3) Then you have to apply for Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) based on the acceptance letter your received and the available funds. The funds depend on the tuition fee of your program in which you got accepted.
4) After getting a TRV, you have to land in Canada before it's expiration. When you'll land at the airport, the authorities will issue you a Study Permit attached to your passport.
5) Then you have to submit the tuition fee before a required deadline, after which, late fee surcharge will be applied.

Now are you saying that you are still waiting for the Visa?

Regards,

Lambton College sent me a soft copy of the Acceptance Letter through their Nigeria agent representative after applying through her agent as instructed by the school but yet to receive hard copy of the Letter. On the letter I was instructed to pay 1st semester fee and deadline for the payment is 4th of Oct.
The plan of the School is to send the Hard copy of the Acceptance Letter with receipt of 1st semester fee (if paid in time). I did not know I will be asked to pay the money so soon thinking is going to be later.
Right now I cannot meet up with the payment by 4th Oct. which means I may probably not be able to meet up with Jan 2014 intake . @umar have not applied for Visa . I need you people advice on this forum on what to do.
