Hi guys me and my husband are travelling to canada. can someone explain me how much dollars we need to take to travel. Also can we take this money in cash with us or not. pls reply

Are you going to Canada as a permanent resident or tourist?

For travel during flight you may not need any money over unless you buy snack and drinks at any transit airport. Once you reach in Canada, it depends where you are going to live and how. As you did not explain much no one will be able to guess what is in your mind. however, take as much as Canadian dollar by travellers check and at least one or two thousand as cash.

Hi Friends i am going on PR Visa. So i have checked on website it says for two pepole we need to carry 14720 canadian dollars. Do i need to carry this money in cash.

Hi All ya' all,
I deadly need to know the following. Kindly help me about it. I got my and RPC (and so did all my family members). We landed in Toronto on the 2nd of Feb, 2013. Unfortunately we had to get back to where we live for several personal and familial reasons. When we landed we didn't take anything with us except the required landing funds which we took back with us. Now, we are going to Canada FOR GOOD soon. I am wondering about whether we can take our belongings (such as furniture, car and other stuff...etc). We certainly are going to take money with us which we will need for settlement. Is this money going to be taxed?
Dear Seniors, kindly help with your advice.
Thanking you in advance.

10000 dollars or more, u need to declare to the immigration authorities.
