The immigration lawyer we found claims the last one from SA he just finished was completed in 5 months - everything we've seen on other posts say 2+ years from start to finish when they did the application on their own.
So we're going to apply for a second TRV with a lot more information included - mostly true, some false to try and convince them that my husband is coming back. If he gets another denial then its PR route with the Imm lawyer and hopefully it will only take 6 months!
Will post how the TRV re-app goes for future readers.
