In a couple of weeks I will be losing 1 FSW point doue to age.
My total FSW will become 66, making me inelegible for express entry FSW route.

Anyone know if I can still be nominated from OINP without valid EE profile?
My application reached OINP Feb 12th...

Anyone know if I can go thru the paper based route with a nomination, but without an express entry profile?
Someone suggested I can still do it thrugh the processing center in sydney, Nova scotia.

Any recommendations?

I maxed my ielts, work experience.
I know about getting a masters, CEC, or job offer paths.

Would appreciate any other suggestions.

Thanks,
Mco

Your profile has to be valid to be considered by OINP.

Even for paper based route, you will need to meet 67/100 points to be eligible.

The only options that I see for you is to get points for French skills and points for Adaptability (if you are married, IELTS for spouse) etc. But all of these would taker longer than the time that you have on hand. Check this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp.

Stanlee,

If Mc0246 shares his details English, Education, Experience, Age, Arranged employment in Canada if any, Adaptability, we may be able to suggest.

I came across a few applicants who calculated wrongly.

At the time of submitting the application he had eligible points. Will OINP not consider it.

I am pretty sure i calculated correctly my friend.

Do you know the shirt "trust me Im an Engineer" ?
Well I have one lol

I can wait until next week ad just see what happens to my profile...
Best to do that i guess. But risk is not getting 1500$ back... I still dont have the AOR

thank you for caring.

Yes, given the time that you have on hand, waiting is the best that you can do. Meanwhile, explore other options to get back into the pool. If the worse happens and your profile becomes ineligible and you do not have AOR before that, you will get your application back with CAD 1,500. Another option would be to place a request to withdraw your application before they send you an AOR. I wish and hope you find out some way that works best for you.
