[urg], 1 year offer letter from employer, no LMIA, worked on closed permit for 24 months

Hi All,

I recently got a job offer from my current employer confirming job in canada for next 1.5 years, I have worked with the same employer under closed work permit(Intra company transfer(ICT)) for 24 months.

I updated my express entry profile, but not getting additional 50 points for the same.
I believe, ICT is LMIA exempted and since I have worked more than a year under ICT, I'm eligible for that 50 points.
In profile, for questions 1.do your employer have positive LMIA, I'm marking as 'NO', since I don't have LMIA.
Also checked with my current employer to provide LMIA if any, they suggested ICT is LMIA exempted.

Please provide your advice/suggestions.

currently I'm in my home country, I went back to my Home country a year ago on different assignment, but my employer now want me to take up this assignment.
my ICT is still valid upto Feb 2020, however I insisted my employer to provide min 1 year job guarantee so that I can get the 50 points.

I don't think you will qualify for the 50 points if you are no longer working in Canada and have been back in your home country for a year.

In my opinion, no. You would need to return to Canada and work in Canada again for a year before qualifying for the 50 points.
