Uregent query for Medical Exam

Hello friends,

I have received RPRF and Medical request on 25 April 2010. As my wife was pregnant of 28 weeks at that time so, I sent the Visa office the RPRF and a letter to allow me extending the medical submission for all of my application. I also mention after the delivery of new born bay I will submit medical for all my family members together.

Few weeks later I got a letter from Visa office mentioning that, my application for submitting medical after the birth of new baby is granted and I need to submit following docs within 60 days of new baby born.
1. Birth certificate of Baby
2. 150 CAD application fee for baby
3. Photograph of baby.

We are going to have our Baby soon. I would like to know from senior members of this group, after delivery should we go for Medicals with the old forms that we received earlier? Or will send these 3 requested documents only and wait to receive medical forms for baby and then go for medical exam for all together?

Hi, I am in the same situation.my wife expecting in October. I asked on forum and sent email to Buffalo this was their reply.

1) I have to update my application (add child)
2) $150 fee for child
3) if your wife had X-Ray (With shield) then the old Medical results will hold otherwise your wife has to undergo for XRAY not the complete medical.
4) Baby's medical
5) 4 X pictures
6) Baby's Passport copy + Birth certificate copy translated if not in English.

so if you have completed your medical then you will not under go again, if your wife had complete medical then she won't as well (if case xray was delayed then she need to go). Your visa office will send you forum for your child's medical. When you will update you case.

I don't have gone for medical for anyone of my family yet as I have got the permission for extension..

So far I understand, I will submit follwoing docs for new born baby within 60 days of born..

- IMM0008 Generic (revised)
- IMM5406 additional family information (revised for me)
- IMM5406 additional family information (revised for spouse)
- Passport copy of baby
- Birth/citizenship certificate of baby
- 150 CAD pay order
- Photos

After that, they will send me medical form for the baby....... then we will go for medical for all member of family together..
is it ok?

Also i am exactly in the same situation, i am expecting a new baby on dec,

So I sent an email to hold the medical instruction and they told me that they will hold these instruction to be mailed to me until the delivery due.


SO the VO send email requesting the following documents:

The following documents are required for your baby, to be sent to this office within 45 days of the birth.

-long form birth certificate showing the names of both parents,
-photos, processing fee of CAD 150,
-copy of the child's passport

Upon receipt, we will issue medical instructions.

Hi,

Iam in the same situation as of the other members in the post. Can any one get medical papers for new born after sending all the required papers(i mean baby birth certificates, fees, photos and all)

Any idea how long it is going to take for receving medical request for new born baby.
