I have a loan letter from the bank although i haven't taken the loan from the bank because i don't need it. I applied under the general category and i'll be living next month. Is it ok if i show this letter at the airport as proof of funds? Please help me out.

If the bank is in Canada it will work...

But you say you dont need it? so I imagine you will take your money with you?

I came into canada with about 14000 CAD in cash and cheques..... but no one asked me....

If you enter Canada via Toronto you will not requiere almost anything and entering will take about 3 minutes.... Dont worry

So should i show the loan letter? Will they ask me where i kept the money from the loan? I don't think i'll be carrying much cash with me.

If you are asked for something then you can show them the letter....
Usually they wont do too much questioning regarding your funds and everything..... Remeber you have already satisfied the VO that you meet all the requirements to study in Canada.... So just relax....

if not taking that much money with you... I am guessing you will have a credit card or something similar....

Well just make sure you have an idea of how are you gonna bring the money to canada.... if they ask.... But most likely they wont and you will see that entering to Canada is not a big deal....
