Hi,
check this out: http://cectoolkit.weebly.com/faqs/how-can-i-pay-the-right-of-permanent-residence-rprf-fee-upfront

I noticed that most of you paid RPRF upfront. Did it help? Did it saves you time.

I still cannot decide weather to pay upfront or wait for the request letter.

I am done with my medical. ECAS is not updated yet. It just sasy: Received on this date.

Thank you

Hi Guys,

My application details:

Date: 15th August, 2014
AOR: 5th Dec
MR: Jan 14th
Medicals Done: 22nd Jan
Medicals received: 9th Feb

I had a question regarding paying upfront RPRF. After talking to few friends of mine yesterday I decided to pay the RPRF upfront. But I somehow paid the fee (for both myself and my wife) in the wrong area. I paid it in the application fee section. I paid 550 for my spouse and 490 for myself. That was because I read one of the posts from few months back which had the wrong options mentioned. Later I realized after reading few posts from today and yesterday that I paid it differently. I sent the receipt to the respective CIC email as well.

Can anyone tell me how to handle this situation? Anyone else has gone through a similar mistake and can guide me?

Thanks for your help guys. Sad

Best,
Hanul

please visit https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/faq.do

found the below note.

If you want a refund of your receipt and pay back the exact amount, you must send a refund request with the copy of the receipt by email IPRMS-SIGPR@CIC.GC.CA or by fax at 819-953-1377.

The request must include your name, current address, receipt number, the date of the transaction, amount and reason for the refund. If you do not have the receipt number, we will need the first two and the last four digits of the credit card used and its expiration date. You will also have to make another payment for the correct amount.
