Upfront RCMP

Hey,
It's possible to do RCMP upfront. I have got it two weeks ago.
It is not a mandatory requirement to upload the RCMP, but nowadays for cec candidates IRCC is requesting to upload it later down the road.
Where did you have yours? Im under CEC. Planning to do upfront RCMP to speed up the process.
You can go to the nearby police station or there are some RCMP accredited agencies to get the same.

I just got an ITA under CEC and planning to proceed with upfront RCMP. Need your help in knowing that which document should we ask from them? Is it criminal record check or fingerprinting? Little bit confuse please address this topic if you know anything about it.
Email CCRTIS-SCICTR@rcmp-grc.gc.ca for the most recent list. They usually reply within few hours. Its better to get a recent list as they keep updating it more often. Keep subject line : Request for list of accredited fingerprinting companies. This will get you response quickly. Then you can search the place closest to you and call them to book an appointment. The whole process from fingerprinting to receiving the report at your place can take about 2 weeks.

I was in the same boat but when you go to RCMP, they ask if you have a letter. i think they only do it if you have the letter asking you to get fingerprinted. probably the same with police station too?
