Hello guys,
I am February applicant and since the application process has slow down, I've been thinking of doing my medicals in advance. By reading this forum I've found out that this is possible to do the upfront medicals. I've called one of the physicians and his secretary told me that she is not sure if doctor could do this.
If someone of you has done it before, could you kindly share your experience? Should I just book the appointment, go there, give a doctor my file number and he will do them and upload the results to the system?

Thanks )

I'm in the same dilema, found this post

at this point don't know if is a good idea (I guess it will help a little doing upfront)

why doing upfront? why not wait for immigration to request?? upfront wont speed up a thing :-X . it is not recommended for cec but rather some other family class :P

Upfront medicals are not recommended for CEC class, correct.
Doing upfront medicals might speed up the process a few days, but if you never get the
request from CIC and your application gets denied, you wasted a whole lot of money on nothing.
IMHO wait for the medicals request, then get 'em done.
