Hi guys,

I just randomly gave a call to the cic authorised hospital in my region.
The person said that medicals cn be done even on sundays
Fees is 4250 per head
What i need to carry is 2 copies of passport pgs
Medical history docs
Invite lettr from canada etc

And he said that process will take 2-3 hours and report will be uploaded in 6-7 days.
My question is will I not get a copy of my medical results ?
Will they directly give it to cic ? Should I get my medical done soon ? In 10 days or so?
I have not received ita yet.
Hoping to get the same by feb end or in the frst draw of march.

No, you won't get a copy of medical results. Hospital will directly send it to CIC.
You can do your medical done as soon as you get an ITA. As medical doesn't take much time and hospital also upload it in a week or so, you don't need to do it in advance.

Your medical should be valid when you are entering CANADA.

But the thing is if in case somthn is wrong with the medicals.
( Though I am completely fir physically )
Will cic give me a chance to improve health ?
Wat do they exctly chk in the medicals ?

THis is what i was told at CIC designated hospital where I used.

Once the result is out, if all is fine, they will upload to CIC. If there is any concern, they will do further tests to verify. Once that is done, if confirmed, they will upload to CIC and inform the candidate to come in for discussion and recommend treatment.

At this stage, it depends on what the issue is. Some do not make you inadmissible, some do. On both cases they still recommend tratment for the candidate.

i did my medical here in Canada and they sent to CIC as well as they sent me one pdf copy which has the list of test , category etc which i uploaded in mycic....
