Hi Guys, I really need help with my wife's PR application.
She is on CEC, and she did the medical exam prior we got the official notification letter from CIC just to save time.
We told the clinic we need a medical exam for PR application, and they chose EDE as the IME-type.
But once we received the IME letter from CIC, the type is non-EDE.
Is this mistake gonna effect my wife's application?
Are they(non-EDE and EDE) interchangeable?
Thanks for help.

Thanks for your reply.
So that means my wife has to do an EDE medical exam again? She is pregnant now so she cannot take x-ray exam. We only have 30 days to provide the proof.
And we did ask the doctor, and she said just provide an explanation letter cus the exam is exactly the same between non-EDE and EDE.

No need to worry , same thing happened to me. my medicals are reviewed by VO and attached to my file with no issues or concerns.
If its an upfront for Immigration its by default its EDE . for both the types the examination would be the same.

Thank you so much for your quick reply! I really appreciate that!
I think I am just gonna attach my explanation letter along with my proof of medical exam, and sent it to CIC. Hope them can consent my case.
Crossed Fingers.
