upfront medical in Edmonton

Hello,

I submit my application in April and still wait for the response. I am planning to get the pregency at the early of next year. I know I can't do the x ray if I am pregent, so I am thinking to do it early to avoid delaying my immigration result. I am in Edmonton right now. I am just wondering if anyone did the upfront medical in Edmonton? Could you tell me which panel doctor you met. Thank you very much.

I guess nobody did upfront medical in Edmonton… Here is the thing: I did call several cic authorized clinics. The front desk lady told me that I can't do upfront medical under cec category. The doctor needs the barcode from cic. I am confused because I saw several people in this forum done the upfront medical already. The only thing different is they are from different cities or provinces. Could anyone give me some advises? Thank you very much.

I asked in INdia and they said you can do the upfront medical but not sure about Edmonton. The 23 Ave clinic which i did my medical, looks great people in the Edmonton.

I guess it is the Dominion Medical Centres. I asked kingsway ave and 20th ave. Both of them said no. I will try this one. Thank you very much Yogesh85.

do you know how long the Dr took to send the results after you have done the medical?

It was tony salopek.. Ya.. I had medical on nov 6th after that I called them for follow up but they said u have to come in person to follow up, I didn't get chance yet. Even though Its useless because My wife did medical in India and doctor found some dots in x-ray and now we have to wait 3 months.. so sad!!

Any Idea about these!!!

Medical Doctor asked Sputum test for my wife medical, Usually result comes out in 2 months and x ray again after 3 months (On Feb 13, 2014), by the way she is in India right now and I am in Canada and the visa office is CPP-O. some questions regarding that..

1. Does CIC stop the application process up to the new results? or They start my process and wait for her results?? or Will they add new results later and start the process now??

2. Doctor from India said, they submitted the medical results to CIC on nov 19,2013 and CIC asked to do further Sputum test and second x ray again after three months.

Do I have to inform CPP-O that My wife's medical process is going on for three months more or Can I trust what doctor said??? because of this IMPORTANT: You are required to undergo the medical examinations within 60 days of the date of this
letter. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application.

cic will wait until they get the additional test results from your wife before they can finalize your application.
there is no harm in emailing cpp-ottawa and informing them about your wife's medical complication just be on the safe side.
