Thats awesome to hear... I will plan to get the tests done from somewhere out of USA.

@hamgha Can you share where in USA you got the tests done for 170$

Hi!
I am an Indian from Qatar.
They charge an exorbitant fee of approx.355 USD here. Whereas, the same costs around 240 USD in UAE.
There's a vast difference in the fee charged everywhere.
I think it shouldn't cost more than 75 USD in India.

I'm in Lebanon not the US. But almost everyone is within this range.

How could you compare prices in US and Lebanon?

In India one can get it done for $75-$100. So as per this, you paid a lot in Lebanon as compared to India.

I did some research to get the best price for medical test.

I paid $190 each, $380 in total for me and my wife.

Below is the doctor's information:

Name: Dharmavathy Jegatheeswaran
Address: Medical Practive Dr Jegatheeswaran's Office,
3852 Finch Ave,
Suite 301,
Ontario
M1T 3T9
Telephone: 416-298-9956

Yes but not 600 a person.

Anyone here went to the panelist in NJ? I believe there is only 1 doctor in the state. Just curious about the price and the experience.

But that is what they are charging in US and that's why OP asked the question here. You can't go and bargain with them telling that "Hey! Someone in country X got it done for $YY each."

Hello,

There is an immigration medical examiner in Kitchener Waterloo , Ontario .
You can find the address here http://www.imemed.ca/IMEmed/Immigration_Medical_Examiners.html
Charges are as follows

  • $120 for doc's appointment ( for single applicants $140)
    $15 for blood test
    $40 for chest x-ray

They will give copy of eMedical information on the day of examination.
Once the results are available they will email the eMedical information sheet indicating that all tests were completed and that the report has been submitted to CIC.

I know that the price varies by locations. But I think you get what you paid for in most cases.

The cheaper ones' appointment spots fill up very quickly and if you want to get it quickly you might want to try the pricey ones.

The services are different too.

I tried two places, one is 300+ and the other one is 275+.

The 275+'s one never picks up their phone and never responds to the message I left. When I tried making an appointment in person, the front desk lady was extremely grumpy and the next appointment date was not favourable. I decided to go back to check if there were any other better options at the moment.

I checked another one which costs 300+. They had an automated booking system over phone and the supporting staff was friendly. When I actually went to their site on the day of my appointment, they had a large waiting area which was also much better than the other one.

600$ US is way too much. I have read people getting it done for US $350-$400. A family of 4 had to spend US $1200.

Try to see if there is any other physician from the panel available around you.

AFAIK, you can get it done anywhere in the world.

I spent 1300 USD for family of 4 (2 kids included)

In Brazil it costed 400 brl or 172 CAD per person, just the doctor's appointment. Exams were covered by my health insurance, so I don't know how much they would have costed without insurance.
