Upfront Medical Exam after ITA

I have a question though after ITA do I have to go for a upfront medical or cic will inform for a period of 30 days when the medical has to be done. I am on a open work permit in canada

i think medical exam is one of the requirements before submitting your application as per the checklist. i am set to take my medical exam on monday but i plan to officially submit my application by the end of this month.

i did my medical when i previously received ITA, but due to some errors i made in my EE profile i have to decline my ITA to make changes in my EE profile.
After making changes , i again received my ITA in the latest Draw, so my question is can i use my same medical that i did for my previous invitation,
Or do i have to retake the medical.

Kindly advise.

Medicals are valid for 1 year, you can use the previous medicals. Even if you try you will not abe able to do medical again (before 1 year)

I went for my medical exam today and the nurse told me there is a 2+ rating in my urine test. Will this be a concern for the immigration officer? Apparently I didnt drink a lot of water today. This has got me worried, request an immediate reply please. Thanks

Did the clinic ask you to undergo additional tests with respect to your urine test results? Cos in the ideal scenario, after the preliminary clinical test results are uploaded, the RMO (Regional Medical Offices) will review the results, and if they feel they need more reports they will coordinate with your clinic who in-turn will inform you about the same. You will have to then get the prescribed tests done and submit them to your clinic.

i have received my ITA and going for medical exam this week. i have already received my document checklist and currently gathering documents. when will i come to know about medical exam result? is it only after i submit all documents and application?

I am in a unique situation.. I got my closed work permit in December and my wife and I did upfront medical examination for the same in India. She got an open work permit approval (however she hasn't landed in Canada). We applied for express entry and post ITA, since I am in Canada I went ahead and got another medical exam done and it went ok. When my wife in India, tried to get her medical examination done - the doctors told her she can't as her medical is still valid.

What we are confused is how did the system allow me to have a 2nd medical and not her. Is this a glitch? What's the suggested path?

I recently gave medicals at CMM Hyderabad. And they asked me to comeback for an X-Ray. Not sure the reason behind it, should I be worried ?
