Updating EE profile after marriage in Canada to a Canadian

As title suggests, I just got married to a Canadian I don't want to include her as part of my application. When I try to update my profile, it asks will she accompany me or not to Canada (she's already here), if I say yes, then and only then it asks for name and info but that is all. Now, where am I supposed to determine I don't want to include her but at the same time be sure to update my marriage and her info. Does answering no mean I don't want to include her? But she's in Canada! Who did design this system which has no place for a Canadian info .. any help would be appreciated.

What I did was to send them a note informing them of the updated status together with a copy of a proof for our relationship and my partner's proof of status in Canada. I also explained that I'm not adding my partner as an applicant to the file and it's just to update my application. This was a well-received note and it was reflected in the file as I later saw in GCSM notes.

But that doesn't sound like you are talking about Express Entry profile, does it? I thought the whole point of EE is to get rid of paper. Please let me know if you have any other info as to how to update EE profile after marrying a Canadian. Thanks a lot for the response
