Updated news: application tracker and online processing tool update

Yesterday minister of immigration Sean Fraser announced new measures to expedite procedures for study permits ,permanent resident cards,work permits and to track your applications in the real time so we can actually know where our application is standing ..

Everyone update their case tracking progress here as well so everyone can know actual time line for different kind of applications.

I've watched Minister session with Media, a wonderful commitment toward addressing backlog, not good news for EE. I'm not sure if the newly established tracker will provide detailed for inland applicants, or it is designed for applicant with dependant oversea.. Im happy he mentioned that about 80% of the calls from MP's office is asking status of application. If anyone come across link that will go up presumably today (Feb), please share status

I think liberal is primarily focused on next elections because more PR approvals means more future citizens and more immigrant citizens mean more votes for liberal .

I guess some applicant wont forget social and economic effect caused by long processing time. It's not win/win campaign ticket, its been long due promise.

Your point is valid but you know if someone goes through long procedures and pains but finally gets his PR as a protected person then he can forget everything ..

I agree with you in some point. Others lost their spouse or children because of long separation…my point is i dont want to generalize that every immigrant who got PR should support certain party.

Yes the new tool is under the sponsorship but there is no new update on that

I have these ghost updates almost everyday , sponsoring my niece and nephew, august 2019 application Dakar VO
