It might be helpful, then, as iarblue mentioned earlier, to include a letter of support from family - even though spousal sponsorships are not eligible for co-signers.
I see both users mentioning letters stating I'm being supported by my parents. So basically something like
"To whom it may concern,

We're the Mr and Mrs Doe, parents of John Doe. We are currently supporting John Doe's finanicially ie. Home, Car with insurance, his cell phone bills etc. We will continue to support our son John Doe until he's more financially stable and we promise he wouldnt need any social assistance.

*with this signatures and such"

Will I need to demonstrate my parents' income as well???

Ofcourse! ;D

One more question about the extension of her visa. They said we need to extend latest 2 months before her visa expires and her visa expires end of September, so would the end of August be too late? and it makes total sense that my wife would need a work permit in order to get a job offer.....

So I should first extend her visa as a visitor and when I get my PR application all together I should then apply for a work permit for her?

* Does anyone know how many photos my wife needs for the PR application in total???? I've called some of the DMP's some mentioned I need 3 photos some say 4....but will I need more photos? and do the photos need to be stamped on the back by the photographer? some say I don't since unstamped photos are cheaper.

Yes photos have to be stamped you need 4 for the process and 4 for the medical. And the work permit app make sure you include it in the same envelope as you sponsorship app.And the extension visa app send it the end of august.

So a total of 8 photos?

Irablue I have another question regarding the visa....So when she extends the visitor's visa, does she need a return plane ticket....cause some people saying she needs a return plane ticket for an extension...I think thats foolish since we're applying for her PR...so should I make a note on her extension form stating we are GOING to APPLY for her PR? and should I include the fact that we're actually married...however we got married in June and we're still waiting for our official marriage certificate.

No she is here and staying here so why would she need a return ticket, this is only for people coming from outside the country for a visit,it just proves they are leaving again, but your wife is already here for school so she is just asking to stay here while her PR is in process but like i said you will need to prove to them that you are doing the PR process,if not them may refuse the visit visa and send her to her home country and you dont want that.
So your best bet is if your not sending the app right away at least pay the fee at the bank get the recipt and include(a copy) with her app. Then when you do apply include the recipt (original)with the PR ap

No. She won't be able to do the medical exam while on her period because of the urine test that's involved. She needs to reschedule it preferably at least one week after it is finished.

I submitted mine anyway, even with the failed urine test. My DMP said it may or may not matter but didn't seem too concerned because he sent in all the paperwork regardless. If you can, reschedule it. I just drove too far and spent too much money to turn around. :(

I think I should reschedule, the doctor is a 10 min drive away. Or I'll call first thing in the morning to see if it's cool that she's on period. The fees is $175 for everything for me.

Definitely reschedule if you can! I'm still sweating it out and will be until CIC either approves my medicals or asks me to re-do them.

Just updating* I went with my wife for the med exam and we did everything but urine test. We just got to go back wher her period is over =)

As for the photos, they don't need to be the stamped ones. You can use the 4 dollar ones you see at subway stations and malls...that's according to our DMP in Toronto.
