Updated evidence of settlement funds (showing 6 months deposits/ withdrawals)

Hi All,

I got an update from CIC to get my medicals done. Also, they have asked for " Updated evidence of settlement funds (showing 6 months deposits/ withdrawals history) for yourself".

I dont maintain required proof of funds for all six months...Please advise what to do

did they ask specifically for 6 months history?

You don't need to have had maintained that level for all 6 months, they are simply asking for 6 months history so they can see the source of the money.

If for example you withdrew some money to buy something and then gradually re-saved the amount then this would be fine.

However, any large deposits would need to be explained. As I have said CIC do this as a spotcheck to help ensure applicants are not borrowing money and trying to pretend that it belongs to them.
