2 Photocopies of passport as far as I remember. The VFS people were screaming on everyone for bringing just one photocopy :p

BTW, whatever documents you take, you MUST have photocopies of them too (no need to attest since they will see the original one over there).

I knew it, the VFS dudes always leave part of the info to themselves -_-
2 copies!!

Anyway thanks for saving me up on the attestation. Had to go through a lot last year (as VFS asked me to) and I probably would have done the same this time too, if I hadn't known :|

LOL...yah lot of ppl go through that. But since VFS ppl verify those using the original docs...attesting them is not required. If you can't present the originals of some documents, then you need to attest those only.

About point no. 17: We have to provide documents proving citizenship of my sponsor too?
And point no 19: My father will be sponsoring me wholly. He's a retired govt service holder. So should I need to provide his retirement letter as well?

Point 17: The affidavit covers all the stuffs. Nationality, income, properties, money, declarations, everything.
Point 19: Yes in case of retirement, you should provide the documents for proving that.
