Update on my case

Hi All,

I had applied fro PR in Canada under FSW from Seattle, USA to Immigration office in Buffalo NY in Apr 2008. My NOC was in the list of 38 NOCs that was shortlisted.

Later I moved back to India in 2009 Mar and had sent the address change to Buffalo office. I was scheduled for an interview in Feb 2010 in Buffalo. I requested them to change the venue as I was unable to travel for personal reasons (submitted all the docs as proof).

Now I have received a letter stating that my case has been transferred to New Delhi consulate and they will contact me for further details.

Can anyone please let me know if my case will be processed again from the beginning or will it get any additional weightage as most of the processing was complete in Buffalo?

Seniors/PMM/Leon,

Can you please throw some light on this?
Will ND consulate process my file and check my elgibility again or will they process from the point where Buffalo left?
How will they process my file WRT time, is it a new file of will it get some advantage with respect to timelines?
