Update Information for Permanent Residency Application - Baby, Address, UCI

Hi everyone,

I have a few small questions regarding my Permanent Residency application under the family class. I am from Germany and have submitted my application on May 13th, 2014 (from inside Canada), so CIC will soon start processing my application.

My questions are about changing information that I have submitted on the application and that have changed. I have changed my address last year which was no problem. One month ago, my wife gave birth to a little babyboy and I'm wondering how I can update that information?

Also, with me having changed my residential address last year, is that automatically the case for the sponsor as well? I'm pretty sure I had to put down my wife's address as well but can't remember if there was something to check that we live together.

My last question is about the UCI. When I first applied I didn't have a UCI, but following the submission of the Permanent Residency application, I have applied for Visitor VISA extensions and 'Young Professional' Work VISA. Hence I've got assigned an UCI. Is that something to update CIC for the Permanent Residency application since it could be confusing?

Hello,
I just got notified by CIC via email that the processing of my Permanent Residence application has been completed. So the UCI number is on it and the address is right as well.

I still have to add the birth of my babyboy. Does anyone know how I do that?

Call the call center and the agent would let you know the process by sending you few forms to fill for the baby, also you would need to attach birth certificate of the baby and then email to your VO.

so adding the birth of a baby can be done online!

You would need a birth certificate for proof.

My question: I'm still waiting for the birth certificate in order to properly add my child to my application. Since I will be contacted shortly for a final interview in the CIC office in Yellowknife, I'm wondering if that could cause trouble if I haven't add my child by the time I have my interview? Any thoughts on that?
