Hello guys, a quick question how do I update information (travel history) in my profile after I submitted my application to CIC and received my AOR? Is it normal that the Background check in progress step does appear into the ECAS report (I am able to see it in my cic since 2 weeks)? my ECAS report only got the medical passed step not the next.

you cannot update any information after submitting your application. I do not think that Background check appears on ECAS.

Hi there,

Me the dependent applicant and my spouse the principal applicant submitted our AOR. We are both phd students in the USA as teaching assistants( noc code 4012). In employment document we submitted a document called i-20 which gives information about the students funding and degree status. there it mentions funding for 9 out of 12 months which is the standard. But my husband works as a teaching assistant all throughout the year. I a afraid they might think of this as being non- continous. We are FSW applicants. I forgot to mention it in my LOE. should I send a speciic enquiry through CSE. Any advice is appreciated. I am so scared. He has experience since 2011 20 hours per week.

It should be fairly simple to a letter and copy of pay stubs from Human Resources. Most universities would have HR person handling student positions.

Make sure you get the required format.

Hi Leksi,

I am in the same boat, can you please help me as how you explained this discrepancy. I got LOE for 20 hrs per week since 2012 and worked few summers too, but you get paid for academic year (9 months out of 12); should it be mentioned in LOE? I am filling my PR application currently and have to upload all docs within 3 months. Will appreciate your help.
