Update in the Marital Status after Ready for visa(Express Entry application)

Hello All,

I am outside of Canada and I received an email from CIC today that my application for PR under Express Entry is almost complete and I need to update if there is any status change (eg marital).
In my case as I got married recently I have sent email to CIC saying that my marital status has been updated. So waiting for response on that.
Can any one please list out all the documents required now to submit for spouse application?

And regarding forms

IMM0008 --- At this stage can I mention as "family class" for "Program under which you are applying question"? and enter all the required information of only spouse? considering my PR application as almost complete? or should I enter mine and her's both? Please advise. And also for all the other forms (as per other topics in this forum IMM 5406,IMM 5669,IMM5562)

The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, permanent residence visa. If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform us immediately by email to: CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca with details concerning your situation.

STEP 1: UPDATE YOUR APPLICATION

And what will be the processing time for this after sending all the documents?

Have sent an email to CIC that if there is any possibility of going ahead with my application processing with status change as "Married" so that once I landed in Canada I can start processing for her as she doesn't have the required documents now like India PCC and Birth Certificate which will take quite a time.

So Is this case possible in anyway?

Hey! Could you please suggest what had happened after you had sent email to CIC. I'm in the same boat currently and haven't heard back from CIC for quite some time now. Would be really helpful if you could please suggest what did you do after this? Thanks a lot!

HI, I think I was lucky enough probably. I got a reply from CIC that I should stop sending my Passport for stamp and they have updated my file as Married and initially they have given me 7 days to submit all my Wife documents (But I have requested for additional time and they have granted for 30 days). This was in 2016, probably with number of applications now they are not responding to all the emails I think.

I think at that time I used this email address CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca
