Hello Friends!!!

I have my test and interview on 2nd march 2015. Today I was making copies of my passport for translation of few Arabic stamps on my passport. Accidentally I torn half of the page of my passport. Half of the page is still intact. One side of the page has my Canadian visa issued at the time of immigration, and the other side of page has UAE exit stamp on it.

My question is how the officer will react on it?
There could be any delay in my citizenship, they may be send this for re verification etcc..

I appreciate if some one could give some comments on it and if some went through the similar situation!!!

thanks

I guess you could tape it in using transparent tape in anyway possible and try to get a clear Photocopy. I do not believe that the Visa's integrity would be compromised if you do the taping in a neat way. The important this is to do the translation of everything non English from a certified translation office. At the time of the interview, I do not think that it will really affect things as long as everything else is OK.

Good luck!

I would just use tape to attached the torn off half back to the half on the passport and not worry about it. If the officer questions it just be straight up and tell him what happened.
I think there is no reason to worry...

DO NOT tape anything. Torning a passport page is an accident, taping it is not. Take it to the translator the way it is. They will take a photocopy if it and note it was torn but that they believe it is in fact the torn page

Also: "A damaged passport, which includes one in which a page is ripped, requires ordering a new document" -http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2012/09/10/passport-rules_n_1870950.html

I was hoping to find a better reference but I guess this suffices.
