Unrelated children pictures in passport

Hi.

Kind of a unique situation here. A few years back we travelled abroad and we had my nieces' pictures attached to my passport so they can travel with us.

Now, how do I prove that kids are not our dependents?

You can attach a LOE explaining this.

You can also refer to the Articles in the laws stating that you can put someone else's photo in passport when traveling abroad.

This is quite common case with CIS countries.

@Andy: unrelated to this topic though. Just saw your NOC code 2171. I am an SAP HCM consulant with NOC code 2171. I am right now employed in Toronto on LMIA based WP. I am applying for PR. For getting the employment letters from my previous employers, should they include the NOC code(read code itself) in the letter or just the responsibilites that explain the code 2171?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
