For Buffalo,usa when submitting all documents is it necessary to submit transcripts?I have only marksheets.I studied from India and have got degree verified here.is that not enough?

If you do not have transcripts, please explain why you could not arrange for the same to Visa Officer

As far as I know both are the same things.

The difference is that the transcripts are needed in University sealed envelopes. This university sealed envelope helps VO to verify the authenticity of the documents. The transcript is a one or two page doc which has all your maksheet merged togeather.

marks sheets = transcripts (US term); certificates=credentials (US term)
