My son was accepted in a Canadian university while being on PR status. He has been in country for two years now, and we had an appeal going as we did not meet residency obligations....,
we recently received a decision that appeal is to be dismissed.
What will hapopen to my son in university, will he be allowed to continue studying under Studnt visa or else..??
will he have to leave the country before he can get a Student Visa...?? what is the procedure ...??? what do we need to do...?

thanks

Your son will need a study visa to continue his studies in Canada once he is no longer a PR. Hopefully you have looked into the foreign student fees. They are substantially higher than the domestic student fees.

To the best of my knowledge, it's too late to obtain a study visa for the September term. If your son was planning on attending school starting September and you know for certain that your appeal is going to be denied, then your son should contact the school to postpone his start date to January so that he has time to apply for the visa.

Once your PR status is revoked, you will likely be asked to leave Canada. So you'll need to apply for the study permit from your home country.
