Hi,

I'm looking to apply for Master's in Computer Science. I've done my Bachelor's of (Computer Science) recently . But the problem is that I only scored about 2.7 Gpa in the degree. So, are there any universities available (esp in Toronto or any other state where IT field ) which would accept lower GPA/percentage student ?

Thanks.

Toronto is NOT a state. It is a city in a state/province called Ontario.

You could try for Brock/Lakehead in Ontario. None of them are even close to Toronto though

If Money is not a constraint for you. There are decent options. But all these will be second or third tier universities.

If you want a good university i would suggest you to take GRE exam, get a good score and justify your low GPA in your SOP with a good GRE score. One of my friend got into Concordia University this way.

So, if you have a standardized test score to justify your low GPA you have very good chances in the top universities and universities in Toronto.

If you are hesitant to take up the exam you have to depend on lotta luck which is not advisable and prepare for unattractive cities.

You can compensate for low GPA with Work experience if you have it and justify it on your SOP
