Hi,
I would like to apply for Masters of Science in Comp Science in University of Victoria for Sep'13 Intake but I am having certain doubt whether I should apply or not as per my profile.
Profile:
10th - 87%
12th - 83%
B.Tech - 74 % in Electronics and communication Engineering
Work Exp - 2 years in IT firm TCS as Functional SAP-Enterprise resource Planning: Test Engineer
IELTS : 8
In the Website it is stated that -->
"GRE Recommended,Interdisciplinary students with varied backgrounds are encouraged as many of our research programs involve a variety of other disciplines including psychology, geography, visual arts, music, biology and biochemistry.
A student may gain admission to the CSC graduate program without a major degree in CSC if 3-4 extra background courses are missing. If a substantial number of courses are needed to gain background knowledge, enroll in Computer Science as a second undergraduate degree and apply to switch to a graduate degree later once the background knowledge has been gained.
Normally applicants for the Master's program have a major or honors undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a degree in Mathematics with an emphasis in Computer Science."
Please provide your valuable suggestions and tell me even If i go for Pre-requisite course then How long it will go and in that case by how many months prior to the start of sep session, i have to reach there to undergo/make up for the courses
Note: I am not interested in Programming and Coding stuff and only like the Functional Aspects of the Application/Software
