University of Victoria 2014 batch- Students going from Punjab

Hie there.... I got admitted to UVic MS computer science...Is there anybody whose going to the same university in sept 2014 from Punjab (in any program)..

You don't need to pay for your first year's tuition fee right away

at UVic - you usually pay by terms (Winter and Spring).

First, you register for your classes in the summer
- than you can pay 1st term's tuition by the end of September and 2nd term's tuition is due at the end of January

I'm an alumni and that's how everyone did it.

@ harman- UVic usually takes around 3-4 months for an offer letter... Plus, if u are going for a thesis option, then u should be able to convince a supervisor from the same field. If you have chosen project option or course work, then its not mandatory to have a supervisor.
I applied at the end of Nov and got my offer in the first week of March. My profile is:
10th- 85%
12th - 79%
Btech - 77 % (last 2 years)
IELTS - 8 (R-9, W- 6.5, L- 8.5, S-8)
In addition to this ur SOP should be very impressive and clear...make sure to add all the projects completed by u in ur sop. Make the conclusion by adding a paragraph that indicates why u chose canada as ur study destination and in canada why only UVic... You'll be through it...
