University of Saskatchewan Fall 2018

I am from India. I recently filled pre qualification form of UoS for MSc in mechanical engineering. I have got no reply from them. What can be the reason and what are my chances??

First pre qual form filled on 4th Dec,2017
Second pre qual form filled on 23rd Dec,2017 (because I realized that i had missed some details in first)

My profile
B.Tech. Mechical(2017)- 7.65 Cgpa ( 76.5%)
Qualified GATE 2017 (All India Rank - 7402)
12th- 91.2%
10th - 92.2%
I have not given IELTS as my university is in the list of exempted institutions of UoS

You will need to wait a while for an answer. Longer if you are waiting for Fall 2018 admission. Classes are small so they need to get all the applicants first and pick which students will get first round admission offers. They will send out rejections to students that will not get admission and then wait for people who may get admission depending on who accepts the 1st round admissions. It all depends on who applies to your program that year. Also may depend on your research interests depending on the program.

Did you get your pre qualification form result? Or Have you directly applied without filling the prequalification form?

No. I applied directly for masters in public health(mph) for fall 2018. I wasn't sent or told to fill any prequalification form

There is no need to worry. I thought you had applied for an engineering course. The pre qualification form is for the engineering courses.
