I am from India.
I am in a great quandary, because I got a conditional letter of acceptance stating that I need to submit my final transcripts and degree.
The deadline to apply for a study permit is 1st August, and I will be getting my final transcripts as well as degree completion certificate by july 20th.
How do I apply for the study permit then?
Can I apply for the study permit with a conditional letter of acceptance?
What is your country of residence?

I have applied for the MSc in Finance program at University of Saskatchewan. The Deadline was December 15 and they told me that my application will be reviewed after December 31st. It has been nearly 45 days, I have not got any confirmation from them. What should I do? Should I contact them or should I wait a little bit longer.

I believe you have been pre-evaluated using your transcripts (not complete).. So still have to complete your BS this July 20th.. I don't know what to tell you.. Mine was just TOEFL as outstanding requirement, yours is transcript and your degree.. But since you are given the LoA already, that means you are given the go signal already to apply for the study permit.. Just indicate in your letter of explanation when you apply your case.. Still to finish your program on July.. Anyways, the embassy will just request for your transcripts if they wishes after your graduation..

Or you may wait 'til you graduate.. I guess processing in India don't take too long unlike here in the Philippines that can take 15 weeks to the average..

Yes , in India tha processing time is 3-4 weeks only.
And yes m planning to apply with conditional letter and then I will submit my degree and transcripts on 20th july to the embassy and the university.

here is my profile
IELTS overall -7 but i have 6 in writing and speaking
and i saw it the website that 6 score in one band is allowed
so does that mean i donot have any chance
B.tech-74%
please some one who got admit help me sort it out

The ielts score that u have is a remedial score.
They will accept u or not its upto them because the minimum requirement is 6.5 individually.
You can mail them and ask.
Perhaps if u get accepted you will have to take english sibject in your first semester there.

That is what i am saying brother.
U need minimum 6.5 in each band and also ur ielts score would reduce ur visa chances.

10th:- 84%

diploma:- 6.8 cgpa

backlogs:- 7

ielts:- 6.5

what u think can i get visa by this profile....please help me out everyone....i m totally confused.....please help

As I seen on U of S website for English Proficiency Acceptance, there is a list of Universities which are exempted from English test requirements. My university also in the list, please let me know still I need to submit test scores to U of S?

u mean pre screen right ? I got prescreened for Msc thesis based. i passed it. waiting for decision after paying app fee and submitting all docs
