I have applied for computer science, in April 54 in chemistry, 53 math, physic 64 English 74, 68 Punjabi.

You can get admission according to your overall mark percentage and subjects as the requirement for India is 60% for admission. I think you are applying for 2014 Jan. Considering that chances are pretty good unless the pressure is high.

you know I have applied for the U of S to study M.Sc. in march , I send them an e-mail today asking about the expected date of final decision regarding to my application which should be in may

The number of students applying is high in number. they recognize the marking system in India that's why they have option for India in requirements. Yes I may be coming to to U of S.

And nothing was mentioned about the scholarship on the LOA. It looks like M.Engg aren't given one and rather only M.Sc candidates. I donno I was told by Dr.Sarty (our Dept.Chair) that I would certainly some form of scholarship. Do you have any idea about it?

Divya-- Sure just let me know if in any case I can help you. I really don't have any idea regards to loan facility because such facility never exist in my country so never researched about this and same goes for the scholarship thing.

As far as I got to know from someone there is no such scholarship program for M.ENG but its better if you ask it from U of S because I am not sure about this. But one thing which is extremely good about U of s is that M.ENG fees is not that high which is in other universities so that's a good thing

and Divya one advice, do not wait for your Original LOA to come by mail just start preparing your visa processing file from today it takes a lot of time to gather documents so its better to start collecting things in soonest time.

Yes, the fees is incredibly low!! I saw it and was shocked The best part of U of S of course !

Sure, I will start processing at the earliest possible time.. All docs would be ready by the mid of this month at the max. Then will file for the Visa.
