Well thanks for the information. I have already given the IELTS. I got a 7.5 band score. Also ... do I have to apply through a consultant or should I apply directly? I am an international student. And which supportig document do I have to scan? The 10th and 12th marksheets right? Which other docs are required? Just marksheets and IELTS? Once again thanks for taking the time to reply.

@ cadence86,

You need your 10th, 12th High School Transcripts, Your IELTS TRF (State the TRF Number and Highlight it.) and a updated CV (Mentioned some matters like You were a House captain or you did some projects, charity etc...)

A letter of intent(Optional) stating why do u wanna study at saskatchewan.. include some research pograms Co-op industries names etc..

Hope this helps :D.. do reply if u need any assistance..

And were are u applying from??

I am applying from Pakistan. I do have some work experience too. I'll include that in my CV. So if its going to be CND 31000 for the 4 year program, do you have any idea how much the living accommodation is going to come to? As i will be alone. I have no family there. Also, how much do we have to show in the bank?

you include your work experience as some Internship okay..

and its not 31K its round 60K.. For accomdation Saskatchewan Residence has some good facalities.. its gonna cost around 4K without meals included for two terms(ie. Sept- April).

U need to show 1 year tuition fees + 10000 for living expenditure and 3000 for Travelling.

@cadence86,

Yep!! Correct.. In between when are you planing to apply??

I am going to apply right away. I wont be able to get in into the September term as its too late now but I'll try for December 2013 or Jan 2014.

There is no Dec 2013 and Jan 2014 term for Engineering at Saskatchewan.. And its not even late u still got untill March or April to apply... Dont worry

Ok. Thank you for the information. I really want to study in this university. How long does it take to get the study permit and the visa? Is it easy or our most cases rejected?

@ cadence86,

1)The processing time for study permit depends on your Country, you can check the processing time in CIC Website..

2) If you show all the necessary documents to the Visa Officer and if he is satisfied with it then for sure u gonna get the Study Permit..
Regarding this i can't tell anything..:(

All the Best :D

Thank you so much for the useful information kiranreddy. I would like to ask one more question - is there any age restriction to apply for Bachelor programs in Canada? I am asking this because if I don't get accepted this year, I would like to try again next year. I am basically 17 and if I am rejected I will apply when I'm 18. Will this be an issue?

I don't think there is any age restriction.. but may be they considered you as minor (Guess so..).. Try next year as you didn't get acceptance..

But did u apply to Sept Fall 2013 term or other??

I haven't gotten any rejection yet as I haven't applied yet. I will take your advice and apply for the September 2013 term and I'll let you know how that goes. Once again thanks for the information.
