Hey, did you submit the pre-qualification form required by their Electrical and Computer Engineering department?
No, the Spring 21 link directly provided me to create account for admission. But there is no response yet. Even I contacted 3 professors for supervision last week but non of them replied. I don’t know what to do now

You had to apply to the pre-qualification form first.

https://grad.usask.ca/programs/electrical-computer-engineering.php

It's written on the top of the page. I don't know what will happen since you did not fill in that form but it states that it's mandatory to fill that form.

yes I read it too, but when I applied for spring 21, the link directly opened the admission portal.
Btw what was the reason of your rejection?

No it doesn't. Are you sure you clicked on the correct link? It takes you to the Nintex Form.

The reason for my reject was "We regret to inform you that there are currently no faculty members who are able to offer to provide supervision in your area of interest and as such we cannot proceed further with your application."

At least that's what they said, but most likely it was due to my poor academics.

I opened this marked link for applying.

Yes I did, I got rejected in the pre-qualification form itself.
I filled out the pre-qualification form for the Fall 2021 intake on 12 December 2020.
So there must not be any seat available for fall 21. Must apply for winter 2022 intake.
Did you apply in this same department?

Yes, I applied for the same program you applied to.

Oh, means I may have less chance of acceptance
Depends on your academics. One guy on this forum told me University of Saskatchewan has high competition as it is an affordable university due to its low fees.

Yes, it’s true. So now which universities do you intend to apply now? Any low budget universities can you suggest for the same program?

I don't know much about budget universities in Canada. That's something you will have to research for yourself.

But @tapperb and @primaprime have made a great list of universities and colleges in Canada, all credit goes to them.

I hope you guys don't mind me sharing it without your consent.

I have extremely garbage academics, so to push my luck, I applied to all the universities in Canada which offer electrical engineering as a two year program (to get a three year PGWP). So that totaled to 11 universities. (I know, at this rate I will be spending more money on application fees than my education itself. :D)

What was your academic results that describe as garbage?
I mean your profile
For this question, I will redirect you to the thread below.

By the way, the engineering sheet does not mention Ontario Tech University (UOIT). They do offer engineering programs.
