Oh!! It's so weird. People who apply for research are not able to get the seat! And here you are, even after applying to co-op you're getting research based! ;D
I think there is funding available for Research. But I'm not aware of the details. You'll get to know this when you get the offer letter. :)

Doing MASc is useful for getting job? As One of my senior told me that completing MASc will take almost three years and getting job also will be difficult as compare to co-op industrial...

I have you have done good research in canada admission.. What do you say about it?

In my knowledge people do research based if they are willing to pursue PhD or become professors.
Usually, if we want to go to the industry, coursework based or project based or co-op/internship is the right option.
Its not that with research based, you wouldn't be able to work as an Engineer, but research does take more time than courses.

Hello Sir, I am from India and have applied for Msc. Computer Science Co-Op at U of Regina on 30 March 2017 for the sept intake.
Its been a month and haven't seen any update from them.
Does anybody know, how much time do I have to wait before their decision is given. I have to start my loan process as well.
