Do you know anyone who has been accepted for this program? What are its pre-requisites? Can a student with Mechanical Engineering background get admission in M.Eng. (ISE)?

i dont know anyone who got admission there but yes normally mechanical engineers can apply for industrial or manufacturing engineering courses....i dont believe there will be any pre requisites for mechanical engineer.....

AH I have been conditionally accepted to UoR M.Eng (ESE) Program for winter 2013

so is it just u and me who have got acceptances this term? there may be some from fall who have differed their admission cause of visa...i cant believe so few openings for winter.....

Yeah. I still can't believe that so few have been accepted. Given the reputation of the university, I was expecting far more acceptances. But competition is increasing with every term.
So for what term are you planning to apply for visa - winter or spring? I will apply for spring or fall term due to some personal matters.

i am trying for winter ..but still waiting for other universities before i decide to go to regina

You must send this copy as soon as possible and good thing is apply fior visa afetr removal of this conditionaly accepted words other wise usualy CHC demand it at the end

I have asked Arsalan about it and he has also asked me to write an email to FGSR requesting for a scanned copy of letter. They will email it in a day or two.
As for my case, I am sure it's about the official copy of my bachelor's degree. Mistakenly I sent an unofficial copy along with other docs. Now I have the official one with me. I will sent it as soon as I receive the scanned copy of letter.

My results are;
Secondary school :82%
F.sc (college) :79%
B.Sc. Electrical engineering :74%

Your grades are ok. A good SOP will improve your chances. Also contact professors for supervisor. If you find one, you are all but guaranteed admission
