Sorry it is bit confusing. I simply applied for the MCS (Master in computer sciences) non thesis option (means course based) at the same Ottawa Carlton institie of Computer sciences.

So what do u think did we apply the same program or mine is disserent from u ?

Mine is offered by Ottawa Carleton Institute for Electrical & Computer Engineering for a course based program having a specialization in "Computer & Software Engineering"

Uni of Ottawa sounds slow..i also applied in June and abt 10 days ago got an email says my file is complete and ready for review, and takes 8 weeks approx...

I got an admission letter to Ottawa Meng.
I should admit to the university by first of September.
I was informed that no RA or GA available and no Phd programs.

I have another offer from UBC. I did not take my decision, but I will go for UBC.
