I think that is what is written on the website......yes, i know i can apply....anyone with the first grade can apply.....but there are some universities like waterloo, ubc, uot etc nd ol that dont even look at applications with 70 % there cut off is over 75%, even though 60% written on there websites because of the competition.

My question is with this competition, do I even have a chance in University of Calgary or am I just wasting time??

University of waterloo is for genius students so dont even think about it UBC is expensive and UOT require great grades so ur grades allow u to apply in any average university,, apply in two three universities like memorial university, calgary, new Brunswick,

70 seems to be a decent percentage you should apply.
No one can assure you that you will get an admission as Universities over there dont have a cut off percentage like here in india.
They consider every application in a unique way.
There are chances that a guy with 70% gets admission and a guy with 80% wont.

I do not think Calgary accepts international students into MEng Program. That's what they told me when I contacted them.
