if anyone applied in U of Calgary for Fall 13, plz share your your profile

I applied for Master in Petroleum Engineering
HSC : 86%
BE : 63% in Petroleum engineering
7 months experience in Oil and Gas Exploration
IELTS : 7 bands

I did but for Masters in Biomedical technology...Im yet to send my original transcripts alone which I will be doing mostly by Monday. For me its going to really tough as they will take only 21 students from the whole lot of applications..I am hoping for the best!

hy bdw you applied for which course??
and for minimum requirement you need 7 band in IELTS
but on contrary your profile is really good so if you dont meet English Proficiency Language requirements you need to take Language course extra in your curriculum

applied for meng ece and dunno who I missed the requirements of ielts as 7.0. now am tensed .... will I be getting offer or conditional offer or direct rejection???

your grades are good so you may get conditional but in addition they say that you have to also do english language course
so relax and wait

Yea thanks bhags.. I hope for teh same as well.

For my program, they will make the decision in teh mid of June only. Simialrly you can also get for yours from your program administrator. They will give you a clear picture of teh month and if possible the date when they would reveal their admission decisions.

BSc chemical engineering with specialization in petroleum gas technology = 3.46/4.00 & 82 %
Toefl ibt 85
2 month Internship at Dutch int'l company
3 Int'l awards
1 research paper on "Conversion of Macro Algae to Bio-fuel"
& currently working with my professor as a researcher on Hydroisomerization of n-heptane
