University of Calgary Fall 13 Applicants

Having known U have a lot of information about teh canadian univ's, I'd like to know about a Master's ( Research - based) degree in Biomedical Engineering in U of S? How reputed is U of S?DocRZ said:
@Divyazabi: USask has a very big facility for vaccine technology. One of the biggest in North America. So if you're planning to be involved in this area of biomedical sciences, then USask is a very good university for you. USask is also a member of the U15 so getting admission from this university is quite a big deal already, although its ranking in QS is lower compared to UofC and UWO.
@Ned09: Engineering is best taught in UofToronto, UBC and Waterloo. But both schools have good programs on engineering. UofC has a very competitive degree on petroleum engineering. I'm not sure which school has a better program on electrical engineering...

I ll tell frankly that UWO is better than UOC for ECE. From the feedback of many of friends in FB university of Calgary is no big deal when compared with their friends in UOW. Also, UOC is famous for its biomedical and medical degress (also Law) and UOW is quite good in ECE (offers robotics as well). but this is purely based on feedback from fb friends. And I do believe them

@Arun_Kumar: Your friends will surely say UWO has a better ECE program than UofC because they are studying in UWO.... just kidding... LOL! But maybe you're right. Every school has its 'specialization'. UofC tends to enhance their biology, medical and law programs and UWO on social sciences like economics (and maybe engineering)...
@Ned09: Maybe you can check out their program websites and see the focus of their ECE programs. Then just choose which university offers the areas of your interest. Regardless of which university you attend in the future, you'll have better opportunities since you finished a degree in one of the U15.

That's great profile bro... I hope u will secure admission v easily. U have mentioned that u sent 3 recommendation. But they sent 2 emails to the my professors and when I asked to send the LORs with me transcript they told that they will accept only online filled LOR. Plz take care of this thing458 Bridge said:
