I have B.Tech degree in mechanical engg from INDIA.


I have following queries:


can I apply for 2 yr Diploma course in petroleum engg in NAIT after b.tech

what is best on permanent residency or job opportunity point of view. Should I choose above diploma or masters or PG diploma.

if I choose PG diploma of 1 yr. can I apply for another 1 yr pg diploma to get long work permit.

My scores are as following:
-Btech - 78% (2013 passout)
-no work experience at all
-IELTS - 9(L) 8(R) 6(W) 6(S)
overall 7.5

Yes you can apply for NAIT 2 year diploma, But petrolium engineering diploma at NAIT is very tough to get into as they are having long waiting list for a number of students who are trying to get into this program from past 2 years.
Advise-
Janmeet you have good cgpa in your B.tech , So i will suggest you to go for top notch universities like UBC, Waterloo, SFU and many more. Start preparing your documents for 2015 september intake as you are now late for 2015 january intake, So i'll suggest you to apply asap you are done with your documents.
Apply atleast in 4 or 5 universities and you can also try for NAIT petrolium diploma as in the end it is just $110 application fees + $75 document assessment fees(But apply as early as possible in the month of october .... most probably in the first week).
So start collecting your documents and don't delay your process.

yes, im currently applying for Western Ontario university, it has a summer term for MEng.


i have one year gap already, if i go for 2015 sept admission wont it be a problem during visa process cause then there will be 2 years gap in my studies.

PS: im not doing anything right now, im free and have nothing to show for these 2 years

what are the chances that i will get admission in one of these universities considering all this

Hi,
I have been also accepted in ms program electrical and comp science department at university of ottawa for fall2015. But i have done my btech in Comp science,so is it ok ot i will have diffliculty in understnading the concepts.
Also, i have got my offer letter from alberta university for ms in internetworking program. I m confused which one to choose
And what about pg diplomas? people are not getting good jobs even after doing masters then isn't ok to ho for pg diplomas as there is not any stress of studies and it lso cost less as compared yo universities.
