Its fall and winter..... some universities are admiting candidates once a year some 2 times a year....

most of the major courses have fall(sept) and winter (jan) intake. fall is major intake, winter and others are minor intakes.

major means more seats, minor means less seat.

more the seats, more are the chances for u to get admission.
