You can contact them through IRCC Web Form. I did that more than 3 times. Finally got a response and they said "...please be assured that your application has been received and is currently in active process and we are making every effort to complete processing as expeditiously as possible. As soon as processing is completed we will contact you."

Waiting for them now.

5 weeks today and got this now:

This is in reference to your application for temporary residence. A decision has been made on your application. We
require your passport to finalize processing your application.
Passport requirements
• Please provide your passport or travel document, with a copy of this letter.
• There must be at least one blank page in your passport.
• Your passport must be valid for the duration of your expected length of stay in Canada.
• Please note that we cannot issue a visa beyond the expiry date on the passport.

This must be good news!

@D7 ... Congr8 ... When did you applied to VFS in London? Is it for May intake? and this email came from CIC or the VFS?

4 weeks today and am still waiting for the outcome.

I applied online through CIC.gc.ca on 30 March 2017. September intake. Email from CIC. I only went to Canada VFS London for biometrics

Hello,
I sent in my application on the 15/05/2017 by post. I was contacted via mail to say i need to validate my application forms. Study permit for me ,open work permit for hubby and Trp for my kids. That was completeds and sent .on 17/05/2015.
Recieved email for hubby to provide biimetric on 18/05/2017. Hubby could not provide passport( with uk home office for residence permit allication)
Canadian embassy suggested they process for me as main applicant and kids or wait on processing until my hubby gets passport from uk home office. So we decided to wait.
Am a british citizen.
